About Part 2:
JOB SAFETY HANDBOOK

The Job Safety Handbook is an important element of meeting the communications and training requirements of an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program.  It should include a general description of your program, instructions on how to report unsafe work conditions and work-related injuries and illnesses, information about first aid and medical treatment, information about your hazard communications program and emergency action plan, and a description of the specific general safe and healthy work practices applicable to your employees.

More specific instructions on safe and healthy work practices applicable to a unique group of employees, or to the operation of certain machinery or processes, may be contained in "supplement/s" to the General Job Safety Handbook.  If new hazards are added to the workplace, the applicable safe work practice/s required for that hazard also may be produced in a supplement without needing to update your entire General Job Safety Handbook.  Up to ten supplements can be produced by the system (see further description below).
